Raw Chocolate

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup cacao + 3 - 4 TBL rice malt syrup or organic honey + 1 Cup coconut oil

METHOD

In a saucepan over medium heat combine the above ingredients, continually stirring for 2-3 minutes

I use silicone moulds that I found in Coles/Woolies/Kmart (small moulds are best) You need to work fast with the hot mixture as the rice malt syrup will settle at the bottom and you'll have sweeter and more bitter bits if the mixture isn't being continually stirred

This is the fun bit - I put the plain mixture in some moulds, in others i place shredded coconut and goji berries, in others i put nuts and sultanas and then I put a teaspoon of natural peanut butter in the bottom of the mould then add the hot chocolate mixture on top for peanut butter cups!

There are no rules, the options are endless just place the flavourings/toppings in the moulds first then pour the chocolate mixture on top

Place in the fridge for 2-3 hours to set

(Store in the fridge in air tight container)
